Look, it's Vaal! As a horse. 
Sooo. My first animation of anything actually moving, so I really consider this skill base building rather than an actual work.
Also, I've been reminded why OCD people should never do animations.
I forced myself to give up on keeping the colouring consistent, but only after I'd worked for three days on getting the movement as close to real as I could. Thank goodness for Eadweard Muybridge's film sequence of The Trot, which was my much-needed ref!
EDIT: The speed varies depending on what browser you're using; I think Google Chrome makes it go insanely fast, I apologize, I have no idea what to do about it!

Originality Technique ImpactI've never critiqued before, but I would really like to write a critique as nobody else has for this. First of all, the realistic of it is really good, but I would suggest that you decrease the movement of the tail, unless you aim to make the horse run. As it is trotting, maybe you should slow the pic down a bit. I am running it on a normal google and on a pretty old laptop, but it is running a bit fast for a trot dont you think?(I read about it working differently on different browsers) Also you could decrease the changing of the highlights in some places, but most of it is fine. Overall, a really, really good gif! I'm gonna fav it for you :3 And btw, I think i'm being a bit annoying, so dont worry about this critique at all if you aren't happy with it.
